This is a very unique hike. We were able to join a group of four others. We were all in our late 50's and 60's and the guide was so helpful when anyone needed a hand up. It was a bit of a workout but...More

The whole trip is fantastic, while the boat ride, village and crafts, guides and meal are all very well done the standout feature of this trip is clearly the waterfalls and trek itself. The first half you are walking through the villagers farmland, but eventually...More

Although not taxing, or particularly demanding, this was spectacular. You take a boat trip downstream, about an hour, which at 8am was very atmospheric, with the mist just lifting. You then pass through a small village and walk about 45 minutes through rice fields and...More

We just came back from this day trip and loved it. The scenery is pretty cool, with a good hour long boat trip down the Nam Ou river. The hike itself was a little short: it only took an hour and half up, lunch, then...More

I think I enjoyed the scenery more than the waterfalls. There really are only 2 waterfalls to see but the walk to get there is so charming it doesn't really matter :)

You can be an average walker. There are some parts where the step-up is wide, but then I extended my hand to our guide and asked to be pulled up and there was no problem with that. It is not considered a steep walk.
