This is a lovely walk/climb. I really enjoyed the day out. It starts with an hour boat journey to a lovely rural village. Next a 45 minute trek to the start of the waterfalls. The waterfall part takes about an hour to complete. Lunch is...More
We booked the tour for the 100 waterfalls through tiger trails as they boast about being the only company that can legally do tours to the falls. We had 6 people on our tour. Turns out that tiger trails did not want to run the...More
We did this trek with our two children aged 8 and 9. It started with a beautiful bot trip down stream. Then we walked through the village and fields before climbing up the waterfalls. The guides were brilliant, really friendly and helped the kids up...More
This is a beautiful, not too strenuous trek that starts off with a magnificent boat ride through beautiful scenery and includes an eye-opening visit to a rural village, a very enjoyable walk through farmland and jungle, and an exciting but not overly arduous scramble up...More
This trek is hyped to be among the best in Laos. I'm not sure; I haven't done too many others. 100 Waterfalls is basically a trek up the same stream through multiple waterfalls along the way. Nothing too special, but not bad, either. I added...More
We visit Nong Khiaw for some days, quite little town and we diceded to make the trek to the 100 waterfalls. Really cool!

Well organized day hike. Beautiful boat ride down river and hike in from village. The route passes through the village, farmland and then up the cascading falls of a creek. On a hot day, it's a refreshing route up the waterfalls under tree cover. Local...More
You can be an average walker. There are some parts where the step-up is wide, but then I extended my hand to our guide and asked to be pulled up and there was no problem with that.
It is not considered a steep walk.

Once 1 or 2 people sign up for the tour then it's advertised and fills up. When I did the tour there were about 6 or 8 of us. For exact pricing it's best to ring Harps at Tiger Trails 071 252655.
