A really good use of the old battery as a museum to see what it might have been like in WW2. Its tucked up a side street so not to obvious from main road but easily found with sat nav.

We were recommended to make a visit to this Nazi Battery museum by our local hotelier and we were not disappointed. The ladies on duty within the entrance kiosk / shop spoke English and provided the museum map of the site, which is printed in...More
The museum is logicallyl set out and explains the events of D Day at the Battery very well. Further development is being undertaken and will probably make the visit even better.
We took 2 hours looking around and listening to the presentations which was longer...More
A great little place, full of bunker areas to look through.
Best part of the visit for me was the part where you could go in and experience the sights and sounds of what one if those air raid attacks would have been like.

My review "The events which led up to The Invasion of France are many and the acts of bravery are numerous. However, this was one which I knew little of. You really must visit this battery and should be rightfully thankful of the audacious attack on the Merville Guns"
