Stopping by on a cycling trip for a light lunch, this café was a gem. The owner and staff were very helpful and able to accommodate food allergies without difficulty. Husband's pea and ham soup was 'the best he'd ever tasted' (Umm - I'd better...More

Sticks and stones is the best place in the area to have coffee, tea, a light lunch or afternoon tea. The owners and staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Found this place by chance & glad we did. Lovely quirky place set between antique shops, garden centre and beauty salon. We had a panini and sandwich plus a big pot of tea. Both really nice and sat outside in the sunshine.

I popped in for a quick breakfast with a friend. It serves a range of light, healthy food - no fry-ups here. I had poached egg and avocado on sourdough toast - very good. I agree it's towards the pricy end, and my only criticism...More

Highly recommended - wonderful woodcarvings and kitchen bits and pieces for sale plus art, all very beautifully laid out with seats outside as well

I pop in here all the time. Always met with a smile and a cheery, buzzy atmosphere. Great coffee, delicious homemade cakes and small but perfectly formed lunch menu. We came on a busy weekend lunchtime - all three of us enjoyed a lovely lunch...More

While the Garden centre was closed we've tried to eat here twice. The cafe looks great, the menu fine - but the service..it's not that they are not friendly - they just can't cope with more than about 4 or 5 tables. We have a...More
