Beautiful spot worth a stop over. We visited on a misty, rainy day so did not stay long but it would be a lovely place to have a picnic on a sunny day.

From the main road (R71) it is well signposted but continue some time on the dirt track before you reach the falls. Nice to see but I think (when we visited there was nobody) it can be a bit crowded in summertime because there a...More

Worth a visir if you're in the area. The falls are surrounded by forestry plantations and some remnant evergreenmontane forest. They are open from 08:00 to 17:00 and cost a few rand to get in. The access track is a forestry trail so a bit...More

The waterfall itself is nice but once visited, return to the road. Don't follow the dirt road further to explore the woods! We drove a small SUV, style Toyota RAV4, and counted ourself a lucky to complete this 4x4 stretch without accident or getting stuck....More

We deceided to go on a whim and we were so pleasantly surprized! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Debengeni Waterfall. The setting is picturesque and there are many 'picnic / braai' sites stretching from the foot of the waterfall along the river and into...More

The nature at it's best. A stunning gem with forest all around. The pick-nick spot was clean and tidy. Sadly the bathroom was very smelly and dirty.

Unfortunately don't have any contact details. We stopped at Magoebaskloof Hotel for breakfast and they gave me some information about the falls.
