Our party of 12 drove along the very long and winding gravel road to reach the falls and almost gave up as it seemed we were never getting there. Happily we continued and were DELIGHTED WE DID. The falls are magnificent and we thoroughly enjoyed our picnic in such awesome surroundings. We will go back and braai there next time.

We were amazed and the beauty before us! The waterfall is giagantic and amazing to watch. We hiked down the small trail and sat and just enjoyed the view. There are braaing facilities and concrete benches overlooking the waterfall. Overall beautiful experience

Beautiful redwoods. Great for picnic. Great height of water above and powerful downward current. Rocks slippery and dangerous. Loads of butterflies. Easy approach and parking. Easy walking.

Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the waterfall in the winter and in the summer you can swim there and if you like braai! The gravel road to debengeni is really lovely. Drive slowly and open windows and enjoy. If you listen carefully you will hear the trees sing to you 🌸

While visiting friends in Giyani Limpopo we took a day trip to Debengeni Waterfall. The trip from Giyani gave us a good overview of the rural Limpopo Province. The falls are a wonderful family picnic spot and minor hiking. In the hills the ecosystem changes dramatically from the planes to the west. There was a great deal of tree farming... More

Beautiful series of falls can be reached after a 2 k dirt road and 100m steep but well do-able ramp. Populair for picnics and even has places to do your own bbq. From the parking just walk to the falls, continue to follow the water to see more falls and eventually you see the sign for circular trip. Takes 20... More

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in South Africa. There are tables and braai facilities. So take a picnic basket and just enjoy the beauty of nature. Be sure to stay on the paths, slippery and dangerous if you go to close to the water.

The day we went there were not too many people which definitely made it a better experience. We spoke to friends who had been a few days before and they said it was so crowded they couldn't move. I recommend not going on a weekend. It is pretty and an easy walk up and down the falls.
