Wonderful experience at beautiful cenote
Nov 2021 • Family
We were a family of 6 and we went as a group, just us with the super Carlos as our guide.

Geared up in wetsuits (very necessary as it's pretty cold), we were given torches to explore above and below the water. All the time Carlos was attentive to be sure we were all safe, as well as explaining things and pointing out specific columns etc.

The tour lasted about 45 minutes which was enough, but was a really fabulous experience. The cenote is stunningly beautiful. We have so many fantastic photos and videos from the tour, so be sure to buy one waterproof mobile phone cover so you can take pics down there.

We all highly recommend this tour, and to be honest the 650 pesos/head is reasonable value.

Please tip Carlos afterwards, he deserves it!

Best Cenote in Tulum
Nov 2021 • Couples
Beautiful natural crystal clear water Cenote, tour with snorkeling inside the amazing cave that has stunning stalactites inside!
For sure all people said it’s the best Cenote they have visited in their trip.
It’s a 50 minutes tour with a tour guide (because you can get lost there) and it’s pricy - 650 pesos per person but after you see it all the other Cenotes are not must see.
You get the snorkeling tube as a present in the end of the tour :)

Best underground cenote experience ever
Nov 2021 • Family
The swimming in the underground cenote is incredible. We have swum in many cenotes in Yucatan and this is by far the best. It is very carefully managed and you can only swim through with a guide to protect all the stalactites and stalagmites. Its expensive at 650 pesos per person but you get a mask and snorkel and a wetsuit. Water is 23 degrees but you can get chilly after an hour. Must must take a gopro or camera of some kind. Our guide Jose was knowledgeable and spoke good English. One of our best experiences in Mexico. Best cenote experience ever.

Great time with Lorenzo at Sac Actum- highly recommend going to this cenote
Sep 2021
This was my favorite cenote. i highly recommend visiting this one. Your only option is doing a guided trip which is 650 pesos($35 US). However i cannot see being able to do this cenote without a guide. We got there early and had the place to ourselves. Lorenzo was our guide and he did and exceptional job taking us through the caves and checking out the bats. I personally would chose this cenote over dos ojos for the exploration of the cave and where you get to go in the cenote. However i am sure that if you pay for a guided trip at Dos Ojos you may get a similiar experience. I just preferred Sac Actun due to it not being as popular and the tranquility of it. I think the scenery is amazing.

Lorenzo was a great tour guide. Lucky for my wife and I, we received a private tour due to less crowds. This cenotes was recommended because there are less tourist. Just 15 mins outside of Tulum and was well worth it! This cenotes was beautiful!

Beautiful place, great guide - Lorenzo
Aug 2021 • Couples
After several trips to the Yucatán we finally decided to skip the beach for a few hours and check out a cenote. We are very glad that we did! We hired a car round trip for transportation because it is well off the main road into the jungle, so it did not seem feasible to find a ride back if we were to be dropped off by taxi. The car hire was a little pricey but once we got to sac actun the pricing was reasonable so overall it was money well spent.

Our guide Lorenzo was the best. He gave us an extensive private tour of the underground cenote caves and showed us some very special places. He knew where to take all the good pictures and was very accommodating and knowledgeable. It was very impressive how he knew his way through all the different caves. The water temperature was surprisingly comfortable.

Overall Beautiful place, fantastic guide, and overall great experience that we would recommend. It is worth the trip

Great family time with teenagers
Aug 2021
Went there on a Wednesday. Lorenzo was our guide, he even spoke Mayan and gave us some lessons. The water is not as cold as I remembered from other Cenotes, It was certainly one of the best cenotes. it is very large and mainly covered. We had a great time it took almost an hour of great fun. Bring a good camera or those pockets to take nice pictures from your cellphone. No need to bring the entire snorkel we end up swimming an opening our eyes underwater and carrying all the time
