Spent a morning at the museum. Clean and very well taken care of. Part of the displays our outside in shaded areas, bug spray would of been nice to have with.

The museum is next to Omni hotel on the strip and easy to find. They only take pesos not other currencies accepted- $70 pesos at their entrance. Take a tour of their jungle as it was years ago then take elevator or ramps to 3rd...More

This is a nice museum in amongst the large hotels and shopping stores. They had a good selection of Mayan artifacts and a sabar tooth skeleton. While some of the information was in both English and Spanish, the main display information was only in Spanish....More

A walk through the trails of the museum to see the ruins are well maintained and well shaded which was nice on a very hot day. There is one larger ruin and a few smaller one's but nothing substantial like Tulum. There are a lot...More

A very interesting museum of some well-displayed objects. A real feature is a full skeleton of a saber-toothed tiger.

Well worth the visit. The museum includes an extensive outdoor jungle walk, with various Mayan remains, as well as a conventional indoor museum. Allow a couple of hours for your visit. Easy to get to by taxi or bus, or even on foot from the...More

Our resort was within walking distance of this museum. It cost $5 US per person and was very interesting. I was told to take the flash off my camera and the tour was 'on your own' to explore. If you have a backpack it will...More

Sorry, we do not know if there are guides or not. We do recall that English language signage has improved since the first year.
