As an American in Cancun for an all-inclusive vacation, I'd wondered about this public beach. This trip, I walked down the sand to this beach. It's suprising to me both the size and available amenities.
This is one of the local open beaches along the city coast within the hotel zone. The public is welcome to take an ice chest with any beverages as long as they are cans. Safe & secure. Also open to the public 24/7. There is...More

Cancun certainly has some of the world’s
Most beautiful beaches with its white sand and brilliant water colors!
Playa Delfines is Cancun at its most picturesque.
It’s worth a special trip to see it if you’re anywhere else n the area!

Just take any bus outside of your hotel and get off at the big Cancun sign. It's about 3 kilometers north of where you are. You cannot miss it. The bus will be on the same side of the street as your hotel. That is north. If you cross the street you will be going south towards the airport. Hope that helps.
Usually there is a very long line of people outside of the public beach entrance waiting for the iconic Cancun picture in front of the sign.
