Rogelio was great! Really good at planning and followup. Easy to find and was prepared for me to be there. I signed up for the Coyote ride and was humbled by the difficulty as a relatively new rider. Rogelio was great to take me to the trail where I was best suited and not put me at risk. The ride was more miles climbing up a dirt road than I expected, so I highly recommend an e-bike instead of letting the ego get the best of you (I did). Views were amazing! Riding the jungle is very different than the desert. Lots of leafs and tree roots (duh) so be ready for that. Great experience!

EcoRide Mexico delivers an amazing experience for all mountain bike ability levels. I did 2 seperate tours, the Vellejo Tour with my partner, who is a very novice mountain biker, and the Enduro El Jorullo by myself. Kelda was our guide on the Vellejo tour. She was amazingly sweet and a great guide. The ride itself was approximately 5 miles up and 5 miles down on a dirt road. It was great to have the e-bike option, as it is a fair amount of climbing for a novice rider. The views were amazing and riding through the villages was very fun.

After the Vellejo tour, I decided to go on the Enduro El Jorullo later in the week. Before heading out, I found out that Rogellio, the owner, is the 2022 National Mexican Enduro E-Bike champion, which was a great sign. Later on, I found out we were riding the exact trails that the National Enduro Races were held on, and I could tell. At home, I am able to ride pretty much everything and anything, no matter the skill level, and I can confidently say, I was pleasantly challenged with the trails we rode on the El Jorullo. I wasn't able to ride all of the technical features, which was a good thing. Rogellio is an amazing person running a great business. I will be back many times to ride with him. Thanks so much!

We are mountain bikers from the PNW so we were excited to see there was an opportunity to do some riding in PV.

We accidentally booked for Sunday (when the shop is closed) and Rogelio was cool about it. He was planning to ride the Coyote trail as well anyway so it worked out. He set us up on nice bikes (I'd recommend the $10 upgrade to the dropper seat).

You pedal right from the shop out of town, eventually climbing up a dirt road that follows a pristine river. It was fun to bike through the residential areas and watch Rogelio wave and briefly chat with locals. The scenery on the climb is great and you're reminded that Puerto Vallarta is surrounded by hills.

The Coyote trail shows up as a blue but it's probably more of a black, and some sections can be argued to be a bit spicier than that even. A lot of clients might not be able to ride it all, but it's absolutely worth trying for yourself. We attempted 80% of it and thought it was a perfect way to start our morning. Excellent workout at least from the uphill pedaling!

Me and a buddy did the San Pedro Bike tour. Great views nice almost 30 mile ride that starts in town and turns around at a cool business where we had a beer and some water. Our guide and owner Rogelio was awesome and the bikes were set up as desired. Beautiful views and we even snuck in a little single track.

My friend and I hired a mountain biking tour with Rogelio’s tour company. We had an amazing time! Rogelio was super accommodating and our guide, Fernando, was amazing. We stopped by a gorgeous waterfall and swimming hole. We loved the experience. Eco tours is highly recommended!

I had a great time on the ride with Fernando but I think there was some miscommunication of some sort because I booked Las Cascadas ride and we were supposed to go to waterfalls and a swimming hole. The ride was also advertised as 4 hours and were were done in 2.5...of course I did voluntarily skip the food stop/break and Fernando is so fit, he definitely didn't need the rest. Also, I admittedly didn't realize all of this until I was Researching a tour to take on our next trip to PV.

I'll definitely go out with them again but I'll make sure we're all on the same page before leaving the shop.

Things just keep getting better at Eco Ride. Rogelio has moved to a new location and has an amazing selection of mountain and e-bikes. He also takes care of whatever you need for the tour. I use Rogelio's services regularly, as I am in town frequently. He recently purchased a number of E-bikes, they’re great to use on some of the steeper dirt climbs (when it’s tougher for tires to get a hold of the trail).

Recently, after referring many friends to Eco Ride, my son and I used his services for the Vallejo hike. His tour guide took us off the beaten path, not that the regular path was very crowded! He moved at our pace, sensing when we could tolerate speeding up or slowing down, as necessary. He could’ve blown us away, since he is a competitive mountain bike cyclist and is in great shape. He offered to take breaks often. He is actually a trained physical therapist, as well, in case you are sore as you work!

The waterfall at the turnaround was just beautiful, our guide told us where it was safe to enter the water, what areas were a little harder to navigate, and where the best picture spots were. The guide was awesome, with a profound knowledge of the flora, fauna and wildlife as we hiked. We had an awesome time!

Rogelio and his staff are far and away the best tour company in the area. He never disappoints, he is extremely reliable and always pleasant. His new location is even closer to town, much easier to get to. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for biking or hiking needs.

Went on a ride with Fernando and two others up to El Salto waterfall. Tough climbs but oh was it worth it to see the views. Along the way we saw wildlife and small villages. We saw and heard Parrots all along the way and a few cowboys on horses with cattle. The bikes were in good condition and Fernando was a great guide and very attentive. Would definitely recommend this for something different in Puerto Vallarta if you enjoy mountain biking

My husband and I did the Las Ánimas hike with guides Fernando and Joel. True to the description of the hike on their website, it is an intermediate hike, the most difficult section is the climb out of Boca de Tomatlán, when you get to your first beach the hike eases up considerably. But it’s still a nice challenge, will definitely get your blood pumping as you go up and down stairs. There are a few sections where you are walking or stepping on tree roots, which can be a bit slippery. Good trail runners or light hiking boots are a must. There is no water or food on trail, so make sure you are stocked with water (suggest 1 liter/person) and whatever snacks float your boat. Before setting out on the trail there is a small store in Boca de Tomatlán where you can buy water and snacks if you forget. And there is a restaurant you’ll have lunch at when you reach the Las Ánimas beach.

Rogelio was very easy to work with to set up the tour, and Joel and Fernando are wonderful tour guides, their English is outstanding and they will take great care of you! Would definitely recommend them, we look forward to doing a bike tour next time.

Rogelio was great and I had a great ride! Cool way to see some of the smaller towns around and get up into the mountains. The trail was pretty challenging but it was worth it for the views and the chance to get active! Would recommend for those who have some experience with mountain biking and fairly good cardio (unless you take the e-bike).
