Beautiful and well maintenance Beach. The water is very clear and you can see below you, so you can see all the fish. Has an interesting history based on the name.

The beach is nice and some good restaurants around where you can use their beach chairs. But, the amount of vendors is absolutely out of control. Literally every 10 seconds a vendor is walking up to you while you’re trying to relax on the beach. It’s so annoying, I won’t be back.

I used to love this beach but the cocaine sellers have gotten out of hand. Every five minutes one of the “henna tattoo” guys would come up to us asking if we want weed or cocaine. There are only so many times I can be offered fentanyl-laced cocaine without getting annoyed. Before the pandemic it was one every hour, but things have gotten too brazen. I started dreading the beach and the constant bombardment/inability to relax. Something needs to be done to curb this.

Small beach with entrance right in front of a cemetery. Soft sandy beach with swimmable waives. You can pick a spot or find a vendor and rent set of chairs, umbrellas and order delicious margaritas with typical local food appetizers, bites and tacos. Liked it better than beach in PV where it was rocky sand and feet drowned in it like walking in concrete.

Playa de los muertos is actually a nice stop to make. The beach is a little rough but it has a nice vibe. A few restaurants on the beach - a short walk from el malecón and other nice spots! They have a few water sports as well! Cool place

This beach is at the heart of holiday life in Puerto Vallarta. It has many restaurants fronting it with seat service in many places. There are a few clubs that provide extra service for a price. To the south end of the beach is the extremely popular area for the LGBTQ community, with lots of seating, eating and drinking options. The beach has parasailing available in a couple of places and there are vendors moving up and down the beach selling everything from massage & tattoo (fake) services, sun glasses, bracelets, food, and so much more! The surf can be rough at times, so some caution is needed at times.

I ended up walking here to cool off after a treacherous hike in the mountains and so wasn't actually prepared for a beach day, but it was still so enjoyable. I walked along the edge of the water and took in all the sights. I loved how many local families were out enjoying the water. It is a very Love Is Love type of place so if that makes you or anyone in your party uncomfortable, it might not be the beach for you. I did see some vendors, but they weren't bombarding the beach or anything. tbh I expected the vendor situation to be a lot worse. The beach is pretty crowded, there are always beautiful people going to and fro, and it's a little loud. This beach is more energizing than relaxing. I loved it.

This is a very nice, but narrow beach in town. It gets very crowded on weekends! It’s close to the pier and Malecon. Part of the fun atmosphere are the people enjoying themselves. But, beach umbrellas can be touching. There are fishing boats and water taxis off the pier and many restaurants, bars and shops all along the boardwalk.

Diinner of the beach. Excellent food, great ocean view, beautiful sunset. Professional service. Start with margaritas, and staff does not rush you.

Super great restaurants along the beach, the pier is fabulous especially at night. Fireworks, musicians, vendors and more. Magnificent sunsets! Go get a table at Langostino's on the beach, have dinner stay for sunset. - You're welcome!
