Playa San Augustin is among our 3 favorite beaches in Huatulco for snorkeling, swimming and EATING. The reef here is filled with colorful fish of every size and the restaurants serve-up fresh fish pulled out of the waters (try the Huachinango restaurant!!)

We have camped with our RV by Overlander Beach Camp Don Taco. Very clean and direct on the beach campsite. Very safe with compound closed during the night and protected with cameras. Nod needed in Bahaia San Agustin but give a safe feeling. Highly recommended, perfect stay and service…

Make a friend with a taxi driver and commission one for the day to take you here. Extremely clear water, that's great to snorkel in. We saw a large amount of schools of fish, a few eels, and even a stingray in the shallow water.
