Three excursions - Fabulous Time!
Jan 2020
We booked three excursions as part of a package while at Dreams. We did a city tour, turtle release with bio-illuminessence at night, and a waterfalls adventure trip into the mountains. Since we are a family of 5, we were lucky enough to be a big enough group on our own. All 3 of our guides were extremely knowledgeable about their subject, and interested in knowing more about our family and what we wanted to experience. Two of the trips were estimated to be 7 hours but took longer because we talked so much and had so much fun while out there. We were never rushed and were very well taken care of. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!
Jul 2019 • Friends
We came to Puerto Escondido with a group of 18 students. We wanted to see the area but have enough relaxing / party time. Westcoast understood this perfectly: we had enough activities during the day but there was time to tan and have a drink. The activities were fun and well arranged. The busses were always at our service which was great. Saulo, Ramiro and Sven made us feel at home during our 4-day stay. Thank you so much once again!

3 awesome tours with Daniel from WestCoast Tours
May 2019 • Couples
We visited Huatulco for 7 days and did 3 excursions with Daniel from WeatCoast Tours. We did the city tour, 7 bays tour, and magic waterfalls tour. Daniel was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. Daniel provided us with information about the city, the history, people and nature even when we were in route to our destination. He was very helpful and assisted everyone throughout the tours, even helped to carry an elderly lady on to the boat. Daniel is fluent in English and Spanish and helped a lot of people with translating information and making purchases. If you are planning on doing a tour in Huatulco, Daniel is your guy! We had a great experience as well as everyone in our group.

3 tours each beyond our expectations!
May 2019 • Couples
We went on a tour of the town, the bays and the waterfall. 3 tours on 3 days made this vacation fantastic. Our guide for all 3 was Daniel. We learned so much about every place we went. Daniel took us into town showed us al the highlights of the area, talked about the traditions in the area and explained a lot about the native families, in which later we met a few families first hand at the waterfall. We went to town midevening so we would avoid the high heat. We tasted coffee, different mole and several mezcals. We met a family who demonstrated rug/blanket making and the natural dyes used to color the wool. We went on the bays tour. We stopped at 2 beaches and snorkeled. We had plenty of beer an water to drink. Pointed out several landmarks a long the way, we joined his coworker on this trip and also for the waterfall. The co-worker was Syed(sp) he was very helpful and was very tentative as well. The waterfall was fantastic. The drive is long, but mainly because the road is dirt and you need to drive with caution and respect to the roadway. We stopped at a local shop and used the bathroom tested foods and topical items (shampoo/soaps/lotions) Which were chemical free! Of course we bought a few things. The 2nd stop along the waterfall trip was where we parked to begin our short walk to the waterfall. The walk was mainly shaded by trees. Daniel made sure we were all equipped with water before the walk and we stopped mid way to the location we would eat our lunch. We put our things there and finished our walk to the waterfall, The water was clear and cool. Daniel gave the option to go through the cave to go behind the waterfall o stay with Syed and take in the scenery. We took many pictures and we were very educated n the lifestyle of the family wo took care of us sharing their hard work and harvest with us. We had homemade tortillas, 2 different chicken styles and beef for the tacos . Rice and beans. Hibiscus punch as well. They had beer to purchase, We received mud masks at the waterfall as well. This was the best trip I could say I experienced in a long time. The guides, the locals and the area 100% perfect. I love to learn about the places I am visiting and Daniel filled our minds, hearts and belies on this trip. Highly recommend this group for the tours!

Whales, dolphins, turtles, bays, beaches and more with Isai and crew.
Apr 2019 • Couples
Huatulco Bays Is a special private tour when your guide and crew engage and become as excited with nature as the guests. While first spotting turtles and spotted dolphins, report of a humpback whale and calf sighting off the national park came over the radio. Nothing quite as majestic as the sight of mother and calf breaching! They move at such incredible speed yet stayed long engorging to show their might. This was more than we had hoped to see all in one day. The many bays and reefs were so nice to see in protected areas. Recommend a trip with Isai and crew any day.

Great excursions!
Mar 2019 • Couples
We booked tours through our hotel(Dreams), and they use Westcoast. Our first tour was the City Tour, and our guide was Lallo. We really enjoyed it and appreciated his passion and enthusiasm for Huatulco. Today, we did a snorkeling trip. We saw a mother whale and her calf as well as dolphins and sea turtles. The snorkeling was ok—we have seen more colorful reefs, but we saw lots of beautiful fish and were able to swim at two gorgeous beaches. We really enjoyed it.

Wonderful tour to the falls with Oscar the Great!
Feb 2019 • Friends
6 of us took the falls tour on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019. We had a great time and Oscar gave us lots of interesting facts. He was polite, helpful and fun to be with. The falls were beautiful. Be prepared with the right kind of shoes for this trip though. In 2018, we had a great trip to the coffee plantation with Daniel from this same company and that also was a great experience. Apparently this is a small company, but the tours and the guides we have had were awesome! Thanks guys. Hope to see you next year. The Missouri group from the Secrets.

Best Excursions
Jan 2019 • Couples
We stayed at Secrets and booked our excursions through the Amstar representative in the hotel. We did two excursions; the City Tour and the Waterfall Tour. We were fortunate to have Oscar Jimenez as our driver both times. He has a wealth of local knowledge and really made the tours fun. I really appreciated his sense of humor. When you book your tour you should request him.

I also appreciated how clean and well maintained the vans were.

Great tour to the water falls and Pluma Hildago
Feb 2019 • Friends
We took two separate tours with West Coast. Oscar took us to the coffee plantation and his love and knowledge of his country is fascinating. He showed us the local villages along the way, pointed out tropical fruits and trees and was courteous regarding bathroom breaks.

Daniel brought us to the waterfalls where we enjoyed great scenery and hiking up a waterfall and enjoyed a great meal as well

Highly recommend both trips and both tour guides.
