The Malecon is so enjoyable. Their are so many activities going on at the same time. Beach volleyball right beside it, kids and adults riding bikes, rollerblading, eating ice cream, people watching, eating delicious food, watching the sunset to name a few.

Lots of beautiful statues and tons of couples and families walking around. And of course right on the water. Great activity after dinner when you don’t want to go home just yet. Fun mix of locals and tourists!

Walking down the Malecón at sunset is a must do for locals and tourists. Grab an ice cream and enjoy the cool sea breezes which will bring 'Paz' to your soul after a long day on the beach or at sea.

This is a lovely, long walk along the bay at the edge of town with several impressive sculptures. On the historic part of the old town.

Last week my friend and I went into a shop and I looked out just in time to see a dolphin feeding. He popped up twice fairly close to shore. Wow

Love the improvements La Paz is doing to the Malecon. It's really shaping up to be a beautiful project and really enhances the downtown feel.

Dotted with statues depicting the Gulf of California, this is a La Paz highlight. Join local families as they come out in the evening to socialize and relax.

....we'll be havin' some fun in Baja! La Paz is an interesting town. The boardwalk has a surprising diversity - boba cafe, high-end sushi, everyday local agua fresca stores where families order ice cream (served in an open snack chip bag, very clever!). Water is...More

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.
