We rented a car and drove to balandra , very easy and fast from La Paz. No need to tell you how, just follow signs . Amazing scenery , you’ll see mangroves .... cactus forest and amazing beaches on the way there. There is a...More
The public beach has parking and porta potties, incredible views, warm shallow waters, white sand and was very clean when we were there on a Saturday. Plenty of space to spread out too. Other beaches in the area can be reached only by boat and...More
This beach is pretty amazing totally chill, guys selling hats and food kids playing nobody acting stupid the clearest calmest water I've ever seen white sand, slight drive to get to but no big deal. I'd give it 5 stars but at the end of...More
This is a must while visiting La Paz. The bays are full of colors and life. The parking lot leads to one of the bays that most of the people go to. I would recommend going over the small hill and go to the other...More
Great beach for kids, a few vendors with umbrellas, etc. Make sure your trip does not coincide with a ferry departure - took us more than 1hr from La Paz due to ferry traffic. Our toddler loved the water, but I have never seen so...More

I would go for it, just pack enough snacks, water (grab a super cheap cooler and ice from an oxxo store, they’re everywhere) and towels and be there early to grab a free shade and a nice spot. If there are no more free shades left you can rent one, bring cash. Easter is a busy time of the year so the place will be packed. Kids will have the best time though because this beach is perfect for the little ones.
