We returned for a second class, after first attending one in 2017. We have taken many cooking classes all over Thailand but none matches the one with Penny and her team. Friendly, relaxed and you really get the insight how to cook the tastiest Thai food at home. We had a wonderful evening and can’t wait to return for a third time…

Penny was a fantastic host and brought so much energy and warmth to the session. Neither my partner nor I are experienced cooks, but the class was accessible to all levels, as well as being fun and informative. Caters to vegetarians and vegans very easily (only minor changes are that vegetarians cannot choose one of the three possible soups, and vegans additionally make an egg-free pad thai if this is the stir fry dish they choose). Was also a good way to try new dishes; I'd never opted for a thai soup or salad before, nor the desserts on offer, but was impressed with all three. The meal at the end was one of the best in our 2.5 week trip across Thailand (make sure to arrive hungry!); leftovers can be taken away with you. This isn't the sort of thing I'd usually opt for, but was so glad I did, and will be trying to recreate all of these back home!

The best cooking class!! We’ve done numerous cooking classes in various parts of the world. I have to say, hands down this was the best class we’ve ever taken part in. You get to choose which dishes you would like to cook individually which was good and each person made all of their chosen dishes. The food was phenomenal….the best food we’ve eaten since we arrived in Krabi. Penny was amazing at instructing and explaining and her energy is captivating. Such an engaging, comical energetic lady. Thank you…..you have given us an u forgettable experience. Great Xmas day experience!

By a lucky coincidence I was able to take a cooking class with Penny and it was really fun and very entertaining! Penny and her team work together perfectly, so you can concentrate completely on cooking and I actually really enjoyed my food! Thank you for this lovely evening and see you at the next course! :)

We had a wonderful day today @ Thai Charm cooking school. After a warm welcome we were introduced to Jenny, our teacher. Choices had to be made for the dishes and after a detailed explanation of all ingredients and recipes, it was our turn to prepare and cook the delicious meals. Thanks again Jenny for a lovely day.

We were recommended this by some travellers who insisted this was an experience not to miss. We booked in easily by whatsapping penny, and what followed is undoubtedly an evening to remember forever! Penny’s enthusiasm, warmth, passion and humour shone throughout the entire class! We were looked after extremely well (including transfers there and back from the pier (we were staying at Railay)). We cooked 5 dishes each, and learnt so much about Thai cuisine. The whole session was 4 hours from start to finish, and it flew by. It was incredible value for money, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. The certificate and cookbook are a lovely touch, and her offer to contact her anytime we need support making the dishes at home is one of the many endearing parts of Penny’s generous nature. Great experience on how to cook Thai food. Penny was very nice and funny also. We each picked 5 dishes of your choice and then Prepared them. She Explained how to do each dish step by step. Very good class and she also gives you a digital cookbook for later.

Penny was an amazing teacher, so full of enthusiasm and happiness. She made the class so much fun and the food we cooked was absolutely delicious. Thank you Penny, we have Thai food regularly at home and now we can make it right!

What an experience!!! Penny made our Thai cooking class the best experience we have had in Thailand. She is a fabulous cook with amazing tips and a great personality! Penny was an amazing teacher and this was a fun way to spend an afternoon. The choices of dishes to cook were brilliant and we made unforgettable meals which we then sat and ate! Really highly recommend this experience!
