I think these caves will impact everyone who visits them differently. They are a fascinating step back into history, religious, cultural, societal and spiritual. I was fortunate enough to be guided by Simona, who not only is a guide but has done much of the...More

It was the beautiful place you can feel the history. There is a tour in English, you can ask it at the tourist information. The tour is about an hour and it must be your great experience! Me, I enjoyed very much with my guide,...More

The tunnels under Osimo are a fascinating walk through history. The damp coolness was also a refreshing break from the heat outside. There were no English tours available on the day we visited; however, the guide gave us an English language transcript of the tour...More

Didn't know they existed, until a local told us where to go. It is such an historic part of Osimo and should be advertised more so people can fully appreciate the town's history. Loved it.

It was worth waiting for Simone the English speaking guide to be able to take us round. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we learned a lot about the long and varied history of these man made caves.

My wife and I were very fortunate to have a super guided tour in English with Simone (sp?). Our tour with just the three of us was not rushed and Simone's enthusiasm about the history of the caves was contagious.

Typical place to visit when the weather is not so good, and you cannot go to the beach; but be careful! In these days is crowded, it's better to call and book for the visit. It takes 45min, with a guide who will explain you...More
