We visited here on holiday for my horse mad 2 year old. I was just expecting a farm type of environment but it is so much more. There are lots of back stories to how the animals came to be there and a lot of...More

Praise to the staff that work there. The animals are well looked after and given the condition that some of these animals came into the sanctuary they have done super well. We went on a hot day, all the animals had suitable shelter, water, food...More

Excellent rescue centre with great staff and only place I'd go to home a rescue dog. Can't believe how much it has grown over the years

Everyone is completely rude no one smiled. I will never ever look to adopt a dog or bring my family down there again. Worst experience. Next time I’m going to faith for adoptions much better reviews and polite staff

One of the nicest places we have been to that totally care for their animals. I was overwhelmed by the attention to detail that these people give to all their animals. Walking round you can clearly see that the animals are happy and very well...More

Hi. The rescue isn't open in the winter. Best thing to do is check Hillsides website before travelling. Or phone them. Well worth a visit. Well worth donating your spare cash too.

All dogs are allowed at the sanctuary, obviously they have to be under control as there are animals there. The rescue dogs are not at West Runton, they are at Frettenham.
