The unusual tower of this church can be seen for some distance as you walk through Sompting village, but you need to cross the dual carriageway to access it. The church has been added to over the years, and it was strange to see a...More

Came here with my Father, who is suffering from Alzheimers. Took a trip down memory lane. The trees were in blossom and looked stunning. The actual church is also stunning with some fine features. Very heavy door to open! We also wandered down the public...More

This pleasant little church is worth a visit. Tucked away just off the A27 with it's unique Rhenish style tower. A car park allows one to walk through the grounds to the church. Set in the South Downs with views of the surrounding countryside.

The vicar and her husband kindly work hard so we are able to offer parents of our school a junior and a senior carol service in this lovely church. My sister was married here in 2012 and it is a very special place.

Well sign posted, car park just below the church, lots of seats to take in the view, both of the church and surrounding countryside. For once I agreed with Simon Jenkins assessment from his "1000 Best Churches" the Saxon tower is magnificent, worth the detour...More
