Up on the moor the biggest onshore windfarm in UK. Quite amazing . The turbines are hypnotising and quite calming . Great place for a stroll or hike and lots dog walkers around. Views amazing all the way to Arran

Perfect place to go dog walking and my young children love the windmills! Also very good for bike riding. There is a visitors centre which is interesting and to finish off you can have a spot if lunch in their lovely cafe. Plenty of parking...More

Very good for long dog walks as there is a ton of different trails, also good for taking great photos!

Great long walk, great for dogs. Can be a bit strenuous but it’s good exercise and there are different routes to choose from. Wear decent trainers or walking shoes.

Yes, it's just the centre that closes.i can't remember the time the farm itself closes but I'm pretty sure it is quite a bit later.

They are allowed on the decking outside but unfortunately, are not allowed in the cafe due to health and safety reasons.
