Not much to see other than a very old and dilapidated with no access. I don’t think the light still works as I’m sure the building would be in better condition. There is a coastal path which is rocky so not very user friendly.

A light house at Southerness I don't know any history about it but it stands on a bit off sand beach on the Solway firth guarding ships and sailors from a time long ago.

Were on a wee mini break and wandered down for a look, it was very nice and small and lighthouse like. Unfortunately it was daylight so I am unsure if it works or not.

Mmmm nice-ish views and the beach has rockpools that the dogs loved but not really anything at southerners and felt a little rundown. On the upside the people were lovely and the dogs enjoyed it!

Due to weather and end of season I didn't find access to the lighthouse. Nor can I find a site for the lighthouse leisure caravan park. .

During the summer, the guy tries to open it every weekend I think but he said that's not always possible. There doesn't seem to be set opening times though.
