Tasty and pricy!

Beautiful new store. Our favourite Lavender chocolate was out of stock. Prices are shocking! Only for those with very expensive taste.

Sweet teeth

Five of us take part in the taste of three choclates of our own choice. You choose by looking and reading the name. We agreed that it was expensive and 2 out of each 3 chocolates never to be tasted again. A normal chocolate from OK or Spar would be beter value for money.

Decadent and delicious!

It was so unexpected to see a chocolaterie on the way into the village of Great Brakrivier - and even greater our surprise to find it open during lunch time! We were assisted in making our selection by the friendly and patient owner and my one complaint is that we didn't buy a bigger box! The shop is beautifully decorated too - a fitting backdrop for these top-end, quality chocolates!

Brugge in Great Brak!

Words will not do the experience justice. It was absolutely amazing. Meeting the owner or manager of an establishment gives you an immediate idea of what to expect. The owner immediately impressed me with the passion she had for the art and the pairing we did went by in a flash. I have a proper understanding now of commercial and privately manufactured chocolate. I never knew chocolate could taste this elegant and how it complements even cheese. Definitely a bucket list item!

All hand made and an opportunity to see them making it. Excellent quality and variety , well worth the stop. Make sure you buy enough and o not eat it all in the car on your way back home!

Wine and chocolate pairing, whiskey and fudge and muskadel and turkish delight pairing in most beautiful small chocholaterie shop. Handmade by Charmain. Wonderful taste experience!

Tripadvisor's details are incorrect
Dec 2016 • Couples
My raiting is not on the business buy on details found on Tripadvisor. Im a chocolate lover and wanted to go. We followed Trip Advisors instructions iro address. We eventually phoned the owner and she said that they have moved to Great Brakriver and NOT in Oudtshoorn anymore. Please Tripadvisor, amend your details as I have missed out on a chocolate experience. Hope to pop in on our return home.

Pretty but average

Such a wonderful host treated us to a wonderful story and presentation of her beautiful creations, but we had higher hopes of more decadent flavors. Sadly for us the chocolate is more artistic than flavorful, but we had a wonderful time anyway.

One of the loveliest days. Chocolates were absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious! The lovely talented woman who makes them was so entertaining. You will miss an amazing experience if you don't stop in.
