We grabbed a couple of chairs and had a few beers and lunch. Very enjoyable afternoon. However some will approach you to ask you if you want your hair braided or if you want a massage. Not to pushy though. The structures in the water...More
Junkanoo is a decent place for cruisers wanting a place to catch some sun and do some snorkeling. It’s an easy 10-minute walk from the cruise port. We brought our own snorkeling gear and spent a couple of hours in the clear waters. There is...More

We were there in December 2017. Typical Bahamian beach, a bit crowded but plenty of sand to lay on for a tan of you walk further down away from the concession stands. My wife and I brought our own snorkel gear and enjoyed the waters off the beach. Saw some neat fish and grabbed some jerk chicken before walking back to our cruise ship. The water sports and volleyball was operational when we were there a couple of months ago.
