Very well designed course, tough holes needing straight balls but forgiving if straying. Tough from the green tips at 7100+ yds with wind on most holes. Stunning views of million dollar homes and beautiful waters and small beaches. Nice clubhouse with lots to buy.rental clubs are Callaway epic woods and rogue irons. Great practice range. Twilight rate is 175 but need to stay at the resort or its 295. Everything is so expensive in the Bahamas that it's no surprise to pay close to $300 bucks for a round of golf. I guess its worth it for none time try. We had a great afternoon, staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in great shape other than been plugged a coue weeks ago so uneven greens.

Good and Bad. Mostly bad
Mar 2020
Price (Green fees and club rental): $$$$
Scenery: Spectacular
Course condition: perfect
Playing experience: Well, that's where things start to go sideways. I booked a tee time thru the concierge at the Ocean Club, and teed off at 9AM. The pace of play was unbearably slow. I was able to get thru 5 holes in 2:25 (do the math -- that's 8.5 hours for 18 holes). I skipped ahead thru 6 holes trying to find a break, but it was completely packed. When I got to the 12 tee where there was a group pulling up to the green and another waiting on the tee, I explained the situation to the starter , and asked if there were any holes up ahead that I could skip to. He explained that the whole course was filled the same. I packed it in and went to the clubhouse, where I again explained the problem to the employee behind the desk at the proshop. Her only response was "thank you for making me aware of this situation". And then she turned away.
Explanation: My only guess was that they had markedly overbooked, as there did not seem to be a single group or groups responsible.
Bottom line: I would strongly suggest inquiring about the expected pace of play if you are forced to make a visit to this course. Paying $400+ to spend 4 enjoyable hours playing 18 holes on a beautiful course is worth it to me..... paying the same $400+ to spend 2.5 frustrating hours playing 5 holes---not the same feeling. Beware!

Rude Security!
Jan 2020 • Couples
My husband and I have played this course many times on our many visits to the Island unfortunately on this trip the security Guard at the gate, I believe her name was Thomasina was so rude to my husband and I, we decided not to schedule our tee time. We decided to walk to the course because it was so beautiful out to have lunch and schedule our tee time. The security guard would not let us in because we didn’t arrive by transportation. We showed her our Atlantis key but she didn’t care. She told us we needed to walk back to the hotel and get a bus to let us onto the property. I understand their are private homes inside but the course and restaurant are public. The course is beautiful and the rest of the staff have always been so nice it is a shame they have someone so unpleasant and nasty at the front gate.

What a great property! The golf course is amazing. Breathtaking views, pristine conditions and one heck of a test! If the wind starts blowing, hold on! Staff was great and we had a blast.

Fantastic Golf Course Surrounded by Lovely Blue Ocean
Oct 2019
Beautiful place which escaped the recent hurricane. The course is not hugely difficult but very enjoyable. Some tight holes mean you have to hit straight however and some lovely views on the way around. Island time in the clubhouse though. Takes forever to get your food and drink order but with the views, who cares.

Wow, just wow...

From the moment you pull into the car park you know that you are going to get an extraordinary golf experience. At around $270 for a green fee this is a luxury that perhaps will be a one-time opportunity, I was fortunate to be invited by on old friend with connections and was well looked after by Phil and Mike. The set up is beautiful it was extremely hot and usually (apparently) busy, waiting on most tees for the group in front. The views are amazing, the amount of water on course makes it necessary to be straight and the amount of bunkers mean getting distances spot on, my downfall on the front 9 was bunkers. The greens were slow and due to the amount of rain not in the best nick thanks to sea birds hunting for worms...a bird of prey circling would scare these off? We had a great experience right up to the 13th when the siren went of for a storm, whilst there was no lightening we did have thunder and a lot of rain for best part of 30 mins and although we snuck back on to play a couple of holes only to be called off course by the staff so a disappointing end to what should have been was an amazing round in Paradise. Great experience tho!

Epic day of golf

My son and I played on a Friday morning. Beginning with the check in, and pro shop the experience was first rate. The scenery is breath taking and the golf course was in pristine condition. I'd go back again and again.

Wonderful course!
Jun 2019 • Couples
Hubby and I played a round while visiting Nassau. Maybe the nicest course we’ve ever played in the Caribbean. Seven holes with views of or right on the ocean. Not an easy course, but not so hard as to be frustrating for people like me who are relative newbies to the game. We played at 8:00 am and the course was in great shape. Outstanding service from all who work there. $250/person for us. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Golf - A must if you Play
Dec 2018 • Family
Ocean Club is well known and I do recommend you play it if you get a chance. It is a bit pricey but you have to do it as it is one of the top courses in the world. We played in windy, rainy weather and I still enjoyed it so it has to be awesome on a great day. Service was great, no complaints at all. Go play!

Beautiful Track - January 2019
Jan 2019 • Solo
Golfed this great track a couple of weeks ago. The winds were HOWLING - what a challenging day! This was the most scenic track I have played. The course was in perfect shape. Beer cart came around 3-4 times and played 18 in 3.5 hours with an 11am tee time. Stand on the 17th tee, par 4, 290 from the blues, ocean to your left, winds blowing across. You HAVE to aim your drive into the water and hope the winds blow back into the fairway....what a rush (I ended up about 15 feet short of the green). Staff was also great all around. $295 + $75 rentals (Callaways). I could lose that, and then some in that time-frame in the casino...this was a great way to spend a few hours. Highly recommend.
