Nice drive and beautiful views. High end homes along the way. Would recommend a drive if you have nothing better to do.

Chalk Sound is beautiful, but the only way to see it is to either visit Las Brisas restaurant or drive thru a neighborhood of rental villas and catch glimpses where there a couple unofficial spots to pull off for pictures. Also, getting there is a...More

Chalk sound is a must visit. Worth the 25 min drive from grace bay. We spent time at sapodilla Bay beach, then drove down the chalk sound drive. No designated parking spots or Vista spots. There are small unpaved roads.drove down those roads and walked...More

Fantastic water color and view!!! A must see on any visit. There was some damage to homes but nothing to stop you from taking great pictures.

Went to see Chalk Sound while in T & C and that area sustained a lot of damage due to the recent hurricanes. Damaged homes are being repaired slowly. beaches are good but homes are not. Loved T&C even with the damage from the hurricanes.

Not much in Chalk Sound. Mostly a body of water between strips of land that one can see while landing at PLS.

I came her with my family including a baby. The water depth is about chest deep. The waves are very calm so this makes it a good place for babies/small kids and amateur paddle boarders. They have rentals for jet skis, kayaks and paddle boards....More

I wouldn't say it's less breezy on Chalk Sound. We spent a lot of time on Taylor Bay Beach which is close to Sopadilla Bay. When we were there last month it was just as breezy on Taylor Bay as it was on Chalk Sound.
