The view off the balcony area is amazing. On a nice sunny day you can see the ends of the horizon very clearly. The monastery is a true place of tranquility and gives you the feeling of being surrounded by divinity.

A place you should try to visit. A few narrow roads to drive through but once you pass that the view is great. This location has a lot of history to it and if you take the time to research it you will enjoy it...More

Yes you can get there by public transport. you travel to ST augustine at the bottom of St John Rd and ther you get the mini van that will take you to the monastery for a minimal fee.
