We had a great time. The spring IS hot and it might make you not want to go in. But, once you break through that initial barrier, you get used to it and it feels nice. We went later in the afternoon and most people had left or were leaving, so we did not experience a crowd as mentioned in some of the other reviews. I think having a personal driver/guide helped. I saw someone complain about a stained bathing suit. Well, I say - don't put mud on clothing. Once you get to your hotel and see some staining, hand wash it. It WILL come off. A round of laundry when you get back will make it look brand new, so worries if you only follow some basic steps. The skin really feels a lot softer afterward. The steam coming from the volcano is amazing to witness.

Very interesting visit, guides really knowledgeable and informative, whether you’ve visited similar sites in the past, it’s a must see place. You can tailor your visit to a drive through and guided tour (about 15/20 minutes for the guide) and there are places to get a drink, buy souvenirs and also toilets. Also you can take a mud bath - and you soon get used to the sulphur smell! Sellers can be a bit pushy but they’re only trying to make a living, we found the same products on sale everywhere (mostly made in china it seems!).

Great views, trip highlights were: There are various places to stop for photos. Impressive Pitons mountains and the volcano from the distance. Visited the volcano and mud baths. We tried local fresh seafood at Soufriere beach, it was really good at the small shops. Visited the Chocolate factory Visited the waterfalls and tried local Spice rum(try all flavors)

Leaves your skin feeling smooth :) Don’t book through your hotel. Find a driver on FB group for much cheaper and pay when you get there. The Sulphur Springs smells but that’s expected, you don’t need water shoes. Don’t bring anything valuable bc they don’t have locked lockers. But bring cash if you want souvenirs and water. Gave 4 stars bc it’s quick and not that fun but a thing you need to do

Place was awesome. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide who explained all about the volcano. The mud bath was fun but ruined our bathing suites. Would recommend wearing an old suit that you might want to throw away when finished.

What a brilliant experience! We had so much fun. First we walked through the beautiful botanical gardens and then onto the sulphur and mud springs. After soaking in the hot springs (which give eternal youth of course….) we painted each other with the white and black mud before showering off. Lots of fun, relaxing and one not to be missed.

After hiking Petit Piton, the Sulphur Springs are a great place to relax, and unwind my muscles. The hot springs itself open pretty early at around 6 o’clock and close pretty late at around 10 PM. However, if you want to do the tour, it only starts at around 9 AM and ends at around 5 PM. Most of the locals arrive very early and depart before the tours come. It is highly recommended that you arrive as early as you can for the cool weather later in the day, it can be pretty hot and crowded. This is definitely highlight when visiting St. Lucia

Mud bath was a fun experience and thankfully we had a private driver who ensure we arrived before the crowds. After the mud bath, we had a private tour of sulfur springs and our guide was very knowledgeable and overall it was a good experience. Be sure to wear a dark swim suit for the mud bath.

We stopped here as part of a full day catamaran tour with Carnival tours, local company not the cruise line that we booked through our resort Windjammer Landing. It’s a popular spot so it’s a bit of an assembly line to get the experience. But if you forget that it was really very cool. The sulfur springs are smelly, but it should be expected, because it’s sulfur! There are two types of mud, one that is fairly liquidy and gray with some grit for exfoliation. The second mud is very thick and black and is used to make decorations on top of the grey mud. You rinse off in the spring. The spring is hot, like a hot tub around 100F. In our tour our next stop was the local waterfall which is on the cool side and pretty powerful, fun refreshing way to rinse some more mud off. Along the way through both places our tour crew used our phones to take video and photos.

We drove here ourselves just following the sign from the main road. Easy to find and plenty of parking. As you arrive, you drive up to the ticket booth if you want the combined experience of the drive in vulcano and mud bath. With your ticket, you then drive on for appr 300m, park your car and walk up to the tour guides (included in the price). Because we drove ourselves we managed to arrive before the minibuses and had a tour guide just for the two of us. Whilst the tour was nor particularly ground breaking, it was interesting to learn a bit more about the geology of the area. The tour took about 20 minutes and after that you drive your car back to the main car park for the mud baths. There are changing rooms and showers. You are advised to remove any silver jewellery due to the slightly acidic waters effects on them. Unfortunately, I was wearing an underwired bikini and it did permanently stain it. The pools vary slightly in temperature from app. 40 degrees Celsius to 35 with the lowest being the coolest. If I were to do this again, I would come in the evening as it is very relaxing and would be nice to go to bed straight after. Overall, a great little attraction if you can get there either before or after the main crowds.
