About
Pirates once haunted this seven-mile stretch of golden sand beach, now ruled by pleasure-seeking beach bums and sun-worshipers.

Mario at Merrill's resort eyebrow threading Negril
Jun 2021 • Solo
Thank you Mario for being a kind human. You helped my daughter in a serious time of need and I cannot be more appreciative. Anyone with a heart like yours has to care about your creative work on our beautiful faces. May you be blessed with endless flowing love.

Mario Eyebrow Threading in Negril and other kind Jamaican locals helped me recover from robbery of phone
Jun 2021 • Solo
I was robbed by a man with a knife in the morning on the beach and he took my phone, I didn't have cash with me for him to take. I would be careful walking the beach towards the city of negril now. I was unharmed by him but it was traumatic, I had felt comfortable all over the beach as I had come before, and I adore the beautiful Jamaican scenery. The only reason I share this here is to recognize the kind locals that offered help all kinds of ways, just minutes too late to catch the perp immediately. Locals
even let me call my mom internationally. Mario who threads eyebrows in negril went above and beyond, helping me find my belongings lost in the area of the scuffle, escorting me to the police station to file a report, and escorting me to the cell phone store and to the hotel again, helping me figure out what I need to make it through. He and my hotel dressed my wounds from the scuffle even. He somehow gave me a few chuckles too. MARIO EYEBROW THREADING in NEGRIL is recommended by me based on him being an outstanding citizen that seemed to honestly care about making my terrible situation better. Thank you so much to all the wonderful Jamaicans and police that helped make it better as much as possible.

Awesome white sand beach
May 2021
Took a trip to this beach before heading to Ricks Cafe. Beautiful white sand, paid the admission fee for 4 chairs w umbrella, enjoyed the ocean for a good while as the ocean at Riu Mobay was mud instead of sand, be extra careful of the vendors walking up and down the beach, just listen and said no thank you. Did not make it to walk the entire 7 mile, vendors keep pulling you to view their merchandise, hair braiding, massages, etc

Stunning Beach Gorgeous Colors
May 2021 • Couples
Absolutely beautiful beach.
Shallow water.
Calm waves.
Breathtaking colors of blue hues.
Sand like powdered sugar.
Suggestions:
Take your walks early in the morning to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility. Get up before the beach vendors to avoid the confrontation.
At sunset, be sure to put on your bug spray to avoid the sand flea bites.
And keep a look out for manta rays/stingrays, as they swim very close to the waters edge.

Enjoy this glorious beach!

Beautiful Long Beach
May 2021 • Couples
I stayed at Sandals Negril, which our section of beach isn’t as “nice” as some of the other resorts (water clarity was mediocre) and a bit wavy. If you walked down towards “beaches” it was much better. It is a nice beach although I think seven mile beach in grand cayman is prettier.

WOW!
May 2021 • Couples
If you beautiful clear pristine waters with gentle waves with a white sand beach that stretches for 7 miles, look no further. We travel all over and we keep coming back to Jamaica for many reasons, but this being a primary one. It’s a beautiful, beautiful beach with breathtaking sunsets. Can’t recommend enough!

Seven Mile Beach for my 50th Birthday
May 2021
We went on a Thursday so the beach didn't have a lot of people so we had a lot of space to ourselves. It also started to rain while we were there so that didn't help. We did however love the fact that as soon as we found a spot on the beach we had people come to offer a massage. The massage was WONDERFUL and most do if you like massages. The drinks were yummy and they had a full menu for food and drinks. I had several other people come to sell us things which I didn't mind. I bought some jewerly. We walked down to Margaritaville and other small bars. We met some of the locals and were able to ask questions and take photos. Overall, this beach is well worth visiting. It was a most do for us to get off the resort and see the local environment and people.

Beautiful beach with dramatic sunsets. Lots of peddlers on the beach but they are polite and aren't too pushy.

Pretty but not set up for day visits
Apr 2021
Breathtakingly gorgeous ocean and sand. Stunning. Hotels will not let you sit on their beach which I understood was public? Also lots of guys jumping out at you to go on their boats or take a taxi or whatever. I am glad we went there but even a gorgeous beach gets tiring when you are walking in the heat and being hassled.
