A lot of people come to this beach because it is close to the main town Bridgetown also right on the bus route of many. I is always a fun day at Brown's beach with friends and families

This is a very nice beach. It has white sand and beautiful water. You can rent umbrellas and chairs for about 15.00 US per day.

Whilst in Barbados there was a HUGE problem with seaweed and all my favourite beaches on the south coast were un-swimable because of it. Browne's is a bus ride away but was the only beach on that side of the island that wasn't completely covered....More

Went down to this beach as was staying at the Coconut Court and took around 40 mins. Beautiful beach and well worth the walk.

There are vendors selling wares and people roaming on the beaches - so you should not leave anything out. If you have valuables - the public beach does have a security guard at the wash house and there is a life guard... More

Hi it's about a 20 minute walk, or we got a taxi for $5 per person. Taxis will be waiting outside cruise terminal.
