My husband and I had the best time at Renaissance Island! One of the servers we met named Vanessa was very friendly and fun! She made sure we had the best service during our two day trips to the island. She also shared a lot about Aruba and helped give us tips to guide us through the rest of our vacation. We have plans to definitely come back!…

Staying at the Renaissance Hotel is definitely worth it. You get unlimited access to their private island which would be $100+ if you don’t stay there and it isn’t a guaranteed ticket. All of the cabanas were booked for my birthday, but after checking it out the second day of our stay, we realized we didn’t need one. There’s access to two beaches where one is exclusive for adults and where most of the flamingoes enjoy hanging out. We learned that they enjoy the iguana beach (family side) in the early morning, which is probably their travel route from their main food spot. Then around 8am or so, they get to the flamingo beach (adult side) and stay there for the majority of the day. There are hammocks scattered around the island, including 2 hanging over the water. There’s free access to kayaks, snorkel gear, towels, and floats. Guests have access to the fitness center. There’s walking trails, bars, and a restaurant. Many places to sit and chill if you want to get away from crowds. The best time to go is early morning or the afternoon around 3pm when most people start to leave. As I said, unlimited access has been the best. On days when we haven’t planned an event, we just take the boat ride to the island and chill at the beach. Beats paying the taxi $20+ to go to further beaches.…

Awesome tropical drinks and very friendly service staff. Beach was beautiful and immaculate. Flamingos were not at all photo shy! Only a 5-minute boat ride from the hotel.…
