We recently returned from Galley Bay resort on Galley Beach and had an amazing time on a incredible beautiful beach. We've traveled 3-4 times a year for several years, mainly in the Caribbean, and my husband thought it was the favorite beach of all times....More

All beaches are public property in Antigua but land owners build right up to the beach making access difficult. Galley Bay beach resort has completely taken over this beach with bedrooms right up to the sand. The hotel grounds are patrolled by several large females...More

Galley Bay beach is pretty to look at, but the waves make it difficult to swim. Not one of the best beaches on Antigua and really not good for swimming.

A stunning beach with beautiful water. Can be rough at times but just look for a clear way into the water

Galley is far from a 4-5 star resort, more like a high class campground. Service is terrible, rooms.

Enjoyed multiple walks along this beach as well as drinks at the boardwalk Rum Shack. The view is wonderful and the beach is always clean.

Galley Bay Beach was beautiful although the public access point was a bit tricky to find. If you miss it just keep driving up and up and up and you will come to some rocks that block the road, park in the grassy area off...More

Nice sand! Cleaned regularly and Galley Bay has Security Guards posted. Sandy bottom ocean floor. May see a movie star strutting along the beach!

The rooms are all single storey. To explain, some units have one room on the ground level and another room above it. Nevertheless, they do have single storey, single rooms - they are more expensive but very enjoyable.

there is literally nothing except vendors hiding in the bush and once they see human life they come out and try to sell you whatever they have. Hope that helps
