One of the pretties places on our eco tour. The laughing gulls were watching their hatched eggs so there was a lot of noise and activity. Easy hike to top. The views were incredible!

Visited this island as part of a tour and were very impressed with the natural beauty and excellent beaches. The hike to the top of the island was somewhat steep (and over slippery rock) but well worth the views from the top. We also enjoyed...More

After kayaking in the mangroves we arrived by speed boat at Bird Island. Swimming was amazing in warm calm water. Some of the party went snorkaling. The sand was soft and the entrance into the water was gradual. A walk up the hillside gave amazing...More

Beautiful beaches and great snorkeling -- a short hike to the top of the island provides amazing views of Antigua and all of the other tiny islands surrounding it.

When you live in Antigua sometimes just getting off island is a necessity and going to Great Bird Island is like going on Vacation for a day. We usually charter a boat and go over for a full day of eating, drinking and merry making....More

The hike is very short but steep with rock surfaces that at times provide minimal traction. Not a trail for those with any limitations. Beautiful views from the top make it worth the effort!

Mainly we stayed on the beach and just took a short walk up the hill. We did see a snake and caught it on video.
