Go to the sea promenade behind the cathedral and sit down, stay there for half an hour just to admire the view. One of the best views in our 11 day trip. Our view looks better than the picture here above.

The locals are very keen for you to see their cistern and also there is a good view viewpoint from the top of the building.

We made a special trip to view this church, which is one of the Romanesque cathedrals in Puglia on the tentative UNESCO list. Like the other Romanesque churches, it has been 'whitewashed' & does not look old at all. There are some relics displayed in two small chambers in the church. An added bonus is its location by the sea. A large open square serves as a parking lot by the water. Overall worth a visit.
