Egremont Castle is worth for the walk around see the castle and go. Not so big not too much to do. It gives a good look of part of the town but nothing else. Short stop.

Interesting and informative information boards help to make the visit to this castle ruin worthwhile. Situated very close to the town centre (5 minute walk) a gentle climb up to the castle for views of the surrounding area

An interesting ruin of Egremont castle set in a lovely garden/park, not much to see really but one of many Cumbrian castles to visit.
