I visited as part of an art society and we had a really good experience. The staff were friendly and informative. The little cafe served delicious cake and hot drinks. We also enjoyed sketching the old mine workings.
Nice venue for acoustic performances and maybe a film but quite small and gallery is not really worth paying forMore

A group of four of us visited to watch I Daniel Blake. We really enjoyed the film in unusual surrounding. The bonus was that we could buy a glass of wine to enjoy while we were watching the film. We will be back
We went to watch an evening of entertainment with a Cumbrian theme. The staff are friendly and there is some excellent art work on display. We will certainly keep a look out for more events at this venue.
