This was a beautiful beach. Plenty of room to walk and for my pooch to run about. She is very nervous of other dogs but there was room enough for her to run about without any other dogs getting near her.

Very pleasant beach with a lovely viewing platform overlooking the bay - although it is up a steep slope. No toilets though. It is forbidden to stay overnight in the carpark, although there is a campsite adjacent. Nice-looking cafe there too

An enormous beach with cliffs and plenty of seabirds. Tranquil and just the place to relax on the beach with a fire and enjoy the evening sly.

Lunan Bay is a superb beach suitable for all. These sands are probably the cleanest and most beautiful on the NE coast narrowly pipping Easthaven near Carnoustie. Beautiful sands, beautiful setting, easy access, good parking, diner near by for refreshments, very clean sea water, mixture...More

I am rating this 4 stars because the beach is beautiful. Very clear and sandy and appeared clean. Kids and adults were swimming in the sea (with wet suits as it is freezing in Scotland particularly the Ocean even in Summer). The Lunan Bay diner...More
