This is a beautiful beach. We were lucky to visit on a very sunny but cool day. The sea was blue and the sand was flowing. Sand dunes by the car park.

Recently visited Lunan bay with the main objective of visiting Red Castle the old ruin. what a fantastic place to visit specially with you have your furry friend plenty of area for them to roam and explore.

We had a lovely walk at Lunan Bay and enjoyed bacon butties in the café. Fabulous views from an observation platform. You can see Red castle.

Miles and miles of golden sands,lots of sand dunes ,,,, really clean and lots of lovely agate stones ,many different colours Stop and have a coffee at the Lunan Diner. Great scones. .

drive up the Montrose road to Lunan Village then follow the signs to beach.

Only restriction is the carpark is locked at night due to car loads of people turning up.........
