About Surf in Comporta
Our school is open since 2008 and is the ideal place to take surf lessons if you chose Carvalhal, Comporta, Troia or Melides as your holiday destination. Our lessons are suitable for all ages and levels of preparation. The owners are a local couple with course in surf teaching by Portuguese Surf Federation. Each lesson lasts about 1h30 and includes all the necessary equipment, insurance and teachers. Open 365 days per year! We speak portuguese, spanish, english and french. Visit our shop, some meters before Carvalhal beach and find a nice souvenir. Try as well our stand up paddle tour in a gorgeous lagoon in Melides beach and relax in our Bed and Breakfast: Maria Mar - Surf & Guest House

Surf with the locals - so much fun!
We had so much fun with Ana, Daniel, Miguel and Luiz, and of course with Maria do Mar! The lessons were relaxed and fun and we learned so much. The beach is beautiful and the water is so clean and clear. The teachers are very committed and gave so many great tips. They all come from the area so they know the beaches and the waves like the back of their hands. All 8 of us made a lot of progress. We can't wait to go back! Highly recommended.…

Great Surf Lessons
We had a great time with Ana and Daniel and their team of instructors. They really made sure we had a lovely time surfing and paddle boarding and our only regret is that we should have booked more lessons. Ana kindly took some photos of us surfing and then sent them over to us which was so nice of her and added to our enjoyment. None of us were particularly brilliant at surfing ( we were a group of 6) but we had two instructors and made great progress. If you visit Comporta book some lessons!…

Best Place and surf course to be
It was a great experience to learn how to surf in Comporta with such a great team. Everyone is so friendly and helpful there and everything is well taught. They live the surf and the ocean.
