The gardens are very interesting and stocked with a variety of plants and trees. The house is interesting but more could be done. Very nice music events during the years. Good coffee shop

Wonderful architecture and charming gardens, although some excavations are taking place at present (October/November 2018). Cafe best avoided.

The ridiculous rule of only guided tours before 1.30 was so disappointing. After spend your money we had a terrible tour of the house. The guide seemed to think that we already knew heaps and just threw peoples names about with no explanation of who...More

Lovely place and gardens. Quite easy to get to by public transport. You can play games on the lawn. Refreshments available too.

Not a great deal to see but what is there is fairly interesting. Unfortunately no parking at Red House, however, nearby roads have parking. Not far from a bus stop but not particularly easy to find.

Lovely place in keeping with its Victorian origins. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The photos and furnishings are fascinating, the leaded windows very beautiful and the wall paintings superb. There is small cafe but the coffee was very poor and stale

There is limited parking on the roads around the red house but watch out for the parking restrictions. It can get very busy especially if it’s a sunny weekend
