Interested in history or not, visiting the Roman city of Segobriga is a must if you happen to be in Madrid or Castilla la Mancha. Make sure you get the camera as the views are breath-taking. Comfortable shoes are also recommended as there's some walking to do.

Espectacular views of "La mancha" from this Roman village. You will see a roman teathre, anfiteathre, nechpholis , ruins of roman baths and village ruins. The staff at the entrance was very nice and warned us the walk will be about one hour or two once inside and suggested we had lunch before coming in with the kids, which we did (thanks for the suggestion). We really enjoyed feeling in contact with history. One of the highlights of our trip!
