Gorgeous!! Yes, that is still an understatement to describe the beauty here. The aqua water defines the name "Emerald Coast". This was our second visit here and we loved it.

The gulf is either a bright aqua green or a brilliant blue adjacent to smooth white sand. There is a comfortable vibe in the region and plenty of access for the beach where you can be all alone.

The beach was smooth and clean. When we were there the surf was high due to Tropical Storm Nate. It was a perfect day, not too crowded. Loved the whole ambiance of the town.

The pier has great fishing at casino beach but the best place is the small pier at the end of the ft Pickens island . It is very deep water and is close to the pass that connects the gulf to Pensacola bay
