We spotted the lakes driving and stop to take pictures. There is a trail, but we already fid some so we just stayed a coupple of minutes to enjoy the view. Extremely beautiful!

Maybe the most beautiful spot in the park. Go early (before the wind chops up the lake) and before the crowds. Difficult to describe the beauty on a clear day. Will leave a long lasting, if not forever, imprint on your soul.

It is very close to Paradise and offers beautiful reflection of mount rainier. It is great to walk on/around the lake even when it is frozen.

There are a few parking spots near the lake. You can use google maps satellite image mode to actually see them near the lake
