A must do - you have to drive place to place anyway so might as well take this beautiful scenic trail.

The trip to the top for a view of sunrise is worth the trip. Get the kids up early and take them along.

We had a clear day to drive down the mountainside and picnic halfway down while admiring the awesome view. Be sure to visit the sea arch created by the lava flow. Driving back up is great too!

Take along a lunch to go up the mountain and see the view if the weather is clear. Don't bother if it is rainy or cloudy
