We were on a long road trip intentionally including scenic drives like this along the way. A great choice. By the way, the "Sugarlands" comes from sugar maples - no sugar cane here!

This is the broader for Tennessee and North Carolina at the top of the mountain! It is a curvy ride, but the views are worth it!

The drive was spectacular with lush green trees in summer and beautiful colors in spring. Driving in the Great Smoky Mountains is always amazing as it always gives memorable experience.

Beautiful drive with plenty of pull offs to stop and enjoy the view, we also seen several waterfalls that we were able to pull over and look at, we didn't see any bears or other wildlife but the views were worth it.

Beautiful sites all along the way with lots of pullouts to take pictures of the awesome mountains. Definitely worth the drive.

You don't want to drive too fast that you miss the views... they're fantastic! Such beautiful mountain views and we really enjoyed the babbling brooks along the way.

Such a nice and peaceful drive. It’s surrounded by trees, with a few tunnels here and there. The overlooks offer great views!

This is a very enjoyable driving road. Beautiful view. And a lot of beautiful spots which you can stop by. Open the car windows, breathe in the mountain air.

This road thru the Smokies has amazing views. We always take our time and breathe in the mountain air. We even went back at night to look at the stars without all of the city lights.
