Views are pretty. Would be nice if they marked which side was TN and which side was NC. Can take a walk on Appalachian trail at this spot. Very crowded. Hard to find parking.

What a great drive. You meander through the park with spectacular vistas, lush vegetation, rush in rivers, tunnels....it goes on and on. Breathtaking even if you've driven it dozens of times. Do not miss!

This road is the only one over the Smokey Mountains. It is a gorgeous drive with several places to pull over for scenic viewing. Definitely take a Dramamine if you get car sick - it is a twisty, turny, curvy ride!

A great way to see the mountains by vehicle. Several pull off areas for views of the mountains. Picnic areas along the route with trails in all directions.

The road should not be an issue except for the tunnels and I am not sure about the height restrictions. It is a nice road and has recently been repaved. There can be heavy traffic at times also.
