Bring a camera for this place. Great for hiking, or driving the car or riding a horse or bike. History everywhere, old churches and houses of people from 100 years ago. Rangers on site to tell stories. I can't wait to go back

Keep in mind that bears hibernate in the dead of winter. So anytime other than winter is good. We saw 7 bears this year in November. Two years ago we saw no bears in Cades Cove. Look for bears in route to Cades Cove as... More

Yes, I believe so. There is also a cute store where you can buy food, drinks, ice. Fun to grill out in the picnic area.
