This was sort of a fun drive, uphill, lots of steep narrow curves and a few trail-heads off the road. Also you can visit a few cabins. My favorite stop with Ely's Mill. The lady had a loom and I was lucky to snag one...More

What a great and beautiful drive we went in the fall with all the leaves changing colors, nice winding roads and a great view from the top overlooking the smoky mountains. There were creeks along the way just a nice peaceful drive a must do.

Yes, I drive a SUV. Just take your time around some of the turns. There are plenty of locations for the dog. I would recommend if you have the time to go through Cedes cove scenic drive. It is longer than Roaring Fork, but... More
