If you don't want to hike to see beautiful creeks and views then don't pass up the pull overs. You won't see the view or creek photo ops until you've passed it and most likely won't get a parking spot. We passed some I wanted...More

Great view from our car. Relaxing drive through nature. We saw 2 large black bears. They are beautiful. They walked around our car. Awesome experience. If you are unable to hike drive this road and you are going to love it’s view

Love to drive the loop, look for bears, stop and take pics of the cabins, water and soak in nature. There are hiking trails as well.

This is a nice drive that offers plenty of opportunity to get out and explore. Old farmsteads are interesting as is the little mill. We saw a bear on the bud Ogle trail.

We saw deer, wild turkey and some other wildlife on one ride out through the area. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the coolness in the air.

We travelled Roaring Fork at 6:30am and the scenery was phenomenal. As you wind up the mountain to the summit several overlooks present. On the way down there are streams, old cottages and mills that make anyone with an iPhone a landscape photographer. It’s just...More

In my pre Gatlinburg research online I never noticed this area. Someone told us about it as we were shopping. It's a shorter area to drive through than Cade's Cove and personally I thought it was more beautiful. Lots of moss & water & old...More

When we went the motor trail was closed. We tried to hike it and about half way up had to turn around. Better be in top physical shape to hike the incline of this trail. Was really hoping to see this part of the smokes.

I grew up going to the Smokey Mountains and had never ever been here. It was just so lovely. It was crowded, but there were places to hike, lunch and just be in nature. It is a great area to be right out of town...More

Yes, I drive a SUV. Just take your time around some of the turns. There are plenty of locations for the dog. I would recommend if you have the time to go through Cedes cove scenic drive. It is longer than Roaring Fork, but... More

Rainbow falls is open because it's accessible from the other small loop but the main road for Roaring Forks is closed.
