A decent side trip to avoid heavy traffic in the cades cove area. Several pull off areas to have a lunch by the adjacent stream

Tremont road / gravel road is off the beaten path. The river flows beside the gravel road, and it rolls for a long distance. It is so, so beautiful. If you can walk the path at the end of the drivable gravel road, you will...More

So many easy access pull-offs on this road for taking your time to photograph or otherwise enjoy the scenes. Really enjoyed taking our time to try various lenses, shutter speeds and angles

We stopped at the Visitors Center in Townsend and the park ranger recommended this for our smallest family member. Plenty of pull offs by the creek to play in, and the hiking trail at the end of the road was great for kids. There isn't...More

I drove my Honda Accord all the way to the end to the Middle Prong Trail. It has lots of pot holes but can be easily navigated with no problems.

So sorry, I just saw your question. It is about 2 miles, and I think you would be fine on a motorcycle.
