It is worth checking out if you visit the Great Smokys to learn a little more about what makes up the park.

Stopped here with friends before driving into the mountains. Enjoyed the 20 minute film on the park. Great gift shop and displays and exhibits on the park.

They helped us figure out what parts of the park would most interest us and fit our schedule. We included Clingman Dome as a result and are glad we did.

Our family really enjoys stopping at the gift shop, seeing the stuffed animals, and reading all of the info about the Great Smoky Mountains. It's a great stop before heading up the mountain.

After seeing how great the Oconuluftee Visitor Center was, I figured this was like that. Not exactly. There is a great museum here. A must stop if you are in Gatlinburg.
