If you want a beautiful hike, take the Bradley Lake/Taggart Lake trail. This hike is about 3 miles. You can make a turn and go around Bradley Lake which adds another 2.9 miles for 5.9 total. The trail is not difficult and fairly family friendly...More

The Taggart Lake hike was fairly easy going. You don't have to be in to great shape to do it as I did it with any issue. The only issue was when we headed up to Bradley lake, the mosquitos got to be quite much...More

We combined this walk with a visit to Bradley Lake first then visited Taggart Lake afterwards. It is only 5 miles or so and doing it this way you can do a loop walk, fairly unusual here mostly out and back the same way.

This seems to be one of the hikes recommended by handbooks and rangers. While it is scenic and pretty, I would recommend doing it before you hike Jenny Lake. Jenny Lake is one of the few hikes that can make this pale in comparison, an...More

I'm not a fan of hiking, for the sake of hiking. I like a reward within a reasonable amount of time. And the Taggart Trail delivered. Although there were a couple dozen people at the lake when we arrived, it was still relaxing to sit...More

I didn’t start the hike until 5:30, so I walked pretty fast, for an out of shape old guy trying to beat the sun. Round trip to Taggart Lake was about an hour 20 minutes. I spent about 10 minutes at the lake and the...More

My wife and I made the hike to Taggart Lake. Enjoyed the hike itself (the exercise) and also enjoyed seeing the beautiful lake. The hike does take a little bit of time so plan accordingly, but worth it.

We've hiked the trail at least three times and truly enjoy the trees, creek and views along the way. Easy to moderate hike. Recommend taking the trail directly to Taggart Lake vice the Valley route...not much to see on this route. Great view from the...More

This was our second time to the Tetons and we've done this hike every time. Combined this trail with Bradley Lake - going to Bradley Lake first and then on to Taggart Lake. This is a popular day hike so get to the Taggart Lake...More

The trial was busy while we were there. A family that we meet saw a bear on this trail the day before. But the bear was about 50 yards away and left when it heard people. The Rangers recommended putting a bell of some kind... More
