Lovely hike. The colors were beautiful at the end of September. Not too difficult. Popular trail, I would recommend it.

I ran out of time in 2017 to make this hike while visiting Grand Teton NP. I planned my 2018 trip around it and it was indeed the "Crown Jewel" of the experiences. To be honest, I was not sure what to expect -- other...More

This trail has a lot of bang for the buck. It's not a very difficult hike, but ends in a great waterfall view.

By far one of the best hikes I've ever done. Take the shuttle across Jenny Lake to shave off about 5-mi RT from your hike. We were time-limited, so we went about 3 miles in, stopped for lunch, and hiked out to the shuttle. The...More

Steep for the first 1000 feet. You take a boat, which is beautiful trip, across the lake to get there to cut off 2.0 miles of the trip. You go through nice woods and climb. I saw waterfall everywhere! I'd definitely return!

It’s about 1/2 mile up a steepish trail. It would be tough for someone with medical issues, but pretty easy for anyone else, including kids.
