Spectacular
Apr 2021
I went early in the morning, around 7am. Had the place to myself. The short, dirt road to the parking lot is a little rough, but my Ford Focus had no problem getting me there. The short hike is easy and almost flat. Very little uphill walking is required. I'm a senior and had no trouble getting to the arch. Got some terrific photos.

Easy hike, cool reward
Apr 2021
We enjoyed the quick and easy hike from the trailhead parking lot to see this very cool natural bridge. Crazy to think of how it was formed! Kids enjoyed scrambling on rocks the whole way.

Short, easier hike w/quick reward, LOVE these!
Mar 2021
Natural Bridge Canyon is a one of the easier hikes with a quick reward, LOVE these! From the parking lot that has bathrooms it will take about 15 minutes walking up a gentle but constant grade, along pebble floor to the Natural Bridge, which extends across the whole canyon and is quite impressive. Along the way you will see various chutes carved out from flood waters from manyy years ago, you can stand inside of these starring up into the deep blue skies peering out into the beauty of Death Valley to capture GREAT photops.

Natural Bridge Canyon offers a short hike 2 miles round-trip with a expansive reward added bonus if you are adventerous continue up past the bridge to see the dry waterfall with the beautiful bluish-green rock colors andd if you are up for scrambling over take in the 20ft dry fall, huge boulders and chutes. ALWAYS bring plenty of H20, be safe and courteous to others.

Worth at least going .33 miles to the bridge!
Mar 2021
If you have limited time, as we did, we made a quick walk to the bridge - the trail continues on - and yes, it was worth it! The bridge is amazing when you think of how nature had to make it. The walk is nice and you get a good overview of badwater on the way back which makes badwater look like a magical spot from high up. Worth the visit!

Worth a visit
Feb 2021
This is a great 2 mile hike (one mile in and one mile back) to see this awesome arch. It does required driving 1.8 miles on a graded dirt road to reach the parking lot and trailhead. But almost all the good attractions in Death Valley seem to require that.

The walk is on level ground for the most part ...... and through a canyon that shields you from the midday sun, for the most part.

Once you reach the arch ...... walk beyond it and shoot your photos from a little farther up the canyon for the best photos.

It you have the time, but dirt and bumpy road getting there
Feb 2021
If you have the time worth seeing. The walk to see the bridges is on an upward incline. You walk through a canyon and the walls on both sides are beautiful and has many good picture opportunities.

Nice short hike - must do in the park

The gravel road up to the trailhead is a bit rough, but go slow and you'll be okay. Great little hike up a canyon and you'll be rewarded with a big natural arch for some nice pictures. Hike a bit farther and check out the dry waterfall rocks. Good hike if you have kids.

Easy trail to a beautiful arch
Nov 2020
The trail to the bridge is an easy walk uphill with some of the walk being shaded by the tall walls of the canyon. We enjoyed both the walk and the sight.

not difficult to access to Natural bridge
Jun 2019
after parking the car, it took not more than 15 min to walk to the Natural bridge, although the first short portion of the trail looks harsh as you need to walk up the hill, but then once go into the canyon, it become flat, and there are shades (unless you go there at noon), so not very hot when you walk inside the canyon, the Natural bridge is quite huge, you can take picture before and after it. You can still walk further after passing the natural bridge, there is a dry waterfall it said the whole trail took about an hour to finish , but it took about 10 min to go to the Natural bridge, so round trip to and from Natural bridge is only less than 30 min, if you go further, walk through the whole trail to the end, then come back, it should be at least an hour (as Natural bridge is only about 1/3 of the whole trail).

Nice hike to an average arch
Mar 2020
Not really spectacular as arches go, especially when compared to Arches National Park, or Natural Bridges, both in Utah. The hike is easy - mostly shaded throughout the day except for the mid-day hours. Not too far from Furnace Creek as well
