No tricks on this hike just occasional uphill breath testers. You are rewarded with a view of Eagle Lake and Jordan Pond, not to mention the Bubble Rock taking front stage in your hike.

This is a great place to visit. It's a rock - big deal. The view is nice too - also big deal. The journey up is the fun part. If you come from Bubble parking lot you'll go up the easy way. Children can do...More

I know the rock itself is fascinating seeing as it hasn't budged over the years, but the journey is what takes the cake! Its a relatively easy trek, and filled with beautiful vistas. A little tip, however: Don't go here if it's raining, the ground...More

I am not a hiker. I only hike when goaded into it--that's my intro. This trail marker claimed it was only .4 miles but it kept going uphill!! I was sweaty and out of breath when we finally reached the bubble rock--and it was simply...More

This was our first stop when visiting Acadia National Park. Parking at trail head is a bit limited. However, if you wait a few minutes a spot will open up. This is a great spot to view the surrounding landscape. Trail was well maintained and...More

My husband & I hiked the Bubble Rock trail with our adult children recently. We were a bit hesitant because we thought that it would be too challenging, but it was not. Although the path was a bit steep in some spots, it was definitely...More

This hike is all about seeing the famous bubble rock which was transported some 40 miles during glacier times. We drove to the Bubble trailhead arriving around 915am. There were no parking spots in the small maybe 12 space lot. Luckily someone left shortly after...More

If you visit Acadia park, don't miss this out. First I suggest to visit Jordan Pond to get a closer look. Then you drive another 5 min or so, you will reach the parking lot. The only complain here is parking lot is very small....More

We parked by the Jordon Pond House in the morning and took the trail to circle the pond. At the north end of the pond we found the trail to Bubble Rock atop South Bubble. It was about a half mile rock scramble straight up....More

If you are only hiking one bubble, I would plan on at least one hour. You will want to linger at the top as the views of Jordan Pond are magnificent. If you are hiking both bubbles, plan on an hour and a half. It is well... More
